On Saturday, a few of us went to Santa Pod Raceway to watch the Flame & Thunder show, it was a great day even though the weather to start of with was a bit wet & windy, but nonetheless it didn’t spoil the day, here is a shot of one of the cars on the drift track that we spent a few minutes observing.
Here is the before & after image once I had processed it with a few filters from Photoshop.

Going through my old archives of images and I came across this one that I took on one of my few visits to United Muscle Cars of Rayleigh, I have added a few filters with my new Photoshop CC and I have also attached the before & after slider to add as a comparison against the original image.

As I was walking around the Maldon area I stumbled upon this scene, I quite like the old VW camper vans so I decided to set up quickly and grab a set of brackets, I did a little extra processing with this one as you can see from the before after slider (that I enjoy using ) I had a go at replacing the sky as the original one was a little grey and washed out, and I also adjusted the lens correction perspective which is mainly noticeable on the left side of the image.

One of the last set of images I took at West Wittering beach the other week was of our truck which is a Nissan Navara, I quite liked the density of the clouds at that time, so adding a little colour to them really bought them out a little more.

I’m still flicking through my shoebox of older images, looking for ones that I have left behind for one reason or another due to the fact that they didn’t quite appeal to me at the time but as time goes on your mind can change so what wasn’t worth posting back then can suddenly jump out and become somewhat attractive to work on at a later date.
Anyway this was a shot taken last year on my visit to PA Woods to shoot some of their collection of classic cars. With this image I wanted a soft colourful blur effect with a heavy illustrative feel to it also a bit of extra saturation in the colours to hopefully give it a bit more character.

This shot was a quick street snap single exposure in RAW of the passsing cars while I was waiting for the traffic signals to change. With this shot I created a set of brackets within ACR and then processed them in photomatix and then I used the 0 and the -3 exposures as layers and blended them altogether and then using the Topaz Adjust plugin and photoshop itself to give the image a little more jazz.

I couldn’t resist posting another shot before I leave for my 2 week break, the title speaks for itself, this was a shot taken looking into the cockpit of one of the Ford F100 trucks, merged in Photomatix and adjusted further in Colour Efex. I particularly like the amount of detail this shot shows especially the wrinkles embedded into the leather upholstery

This shot still following on from yesterdays post at the American Car yard, I took this shot to get both vehicles in the frame and I wanted to leave the background a little more in focus this time rather than using the gaussian blur filter to de-focus away the background as it looks quite nice.
I have used a few filters here from Niksoft colour efex to create a few extra touches like the vignetting around the edge, the rain effect and contrast filter.
I hope everyone has a good weekend, I am off to Devon this weekend and I hope the weather stays nice

Another shot taken while I was roaming around the Rolls Royce & Bentley heritage dealership, this particular image was taken from inside the showroom area of the property.
The only information on this vehicle due to my very little knowledge of cars is that it is a Rolls Royce (given away by the badge on the bonnet!!!)
Im off to Devon for a couple of weeks very soon so I am hoping to bring back some more scenic images (landscapes, seascapes, long exposures and some Infrared) Im really looking forward to the break more than anything else.;-).

A photograph of a Rolls Royce ‘Silver Ghost’ I believe this car was produced in 1909, as I overheard a tour guide who was taking a party of people on a walkaround the workshops and I overheard him giving out some information on this particular classic model.

Another photograph from the prestige car showroom I visited, this is a vintage Rolls Royce, I unfortunately dont have the information on what model or year this is, as much as I wanted to ask the guys that were working there some details on the vehicles so I could make some notes to go with my post I could see that they were busy and the last thing they want is some guy taking photos around them bugging them for answers.
So I will have to let the pictures do the talking I’m afraid, which I hope they do!
I have used some of the filters from Niksoft Colour Efex to produce the shot once it was merged in Photomatix

This photo is of a 1970 Pontiac Trans Am Ram Air III for any car enthusiasts that may be following, myself unfortunately do not have that much knowledge of cars especially the imported ones. I just simply enjoy taking photos of them and using the HDR method to hopefully bring out the real detail and colour of these particular type of machines.
I find that custom or classic cars are so much more interesting to admire due to simply having their own character unlike the mass produced production line vehicles we seen on the UK roads today.
Anyway I hope you enjoy the shot of this beast!!
